Handsome Umar Yuguda, son of Bauchi state governor, Isa Yuguda this afternoon took to his instagram page to declare his unending love for his very beautiful wife, Meemo who he got married to in December 2014. and affection. But honey, as Nick Cannon told us, tattoos can be covered
or removed. And then the relationship, like that tattoo, is just a
faded memory.
The most recent example of this fundamental truth? Safaree Samuels (aka Scaffbeezy), Nicki Minaj’s assistant, best friend and hype man.
I know what you’re thinking, Nicki and Samuels never actually confirmed that they were in a relationship. But that recent vacation, where the two were talking anniversary, and his recent tribute to her clearly tell the story of a man whose nostrils were wide open.
The last Nicki tattoo Safaree had done, was actually his third. And recently he was spotted with two of the three pieces covered completely and the last one beginning to fade.
Since they never acknowledged their relationship, there was no word from either of them about a breakup either. But Samuels has been noticeably absent from Nicki’s side as of late. And back in May, she posted a picture on Instagram with the caption: “SINGLE N READY TO MINGLE.”
At the time, sources said the two had a temporary argument and they were back together but from the looks of homeboy’s body, I’d say something else is going on here.

Mourning mum Aisha Falode writes open letter to Pres. Jonathan
Veteran broadcaster Aisha Falode, who lost her son, Toba in February this year, has written an open letter to Pres. Jonathan and Nigerians on the swift response to the loss of DSP Alameiyeseigha's son in Dubai with no word or action taken in the case of Toba's murder in Dubai eight months after. It is with a heavy heart that I read about the death of the son of Chief Alameiyeseigha on the streets of Dubai; an incident that immediately jolted me back in time thanks to the bizarre similarities to that of my son as regards “cause of death”. My son was said by the Dubai authorities to have jumped down from a balcony, dismissing it as "suicide", same with Chief Alameiyeseigha’s son.
I am saddened that this has happened despite my nationwide campaign to stop this happening AGAIN by putting all relevant government agencies on notice, in vain. For record emphasis, my son was thrown from the balcony of a 17th floor apartment in Manchester Tower in Dubai.
A Saudi boy resident in Dubai confessed to the murder; he had my son’s blood on his t-shirt, he had my son’s blood on his knuckles and boasted about serving time for 25 years in prison if it comes to the worst. His murderer has a name-Faisal Aldakmary Al-Nasser. There were witnesses to this murder, they have written statements verbally and orally corroborating what the murderer said.
I have put all this together to make this easy for the Nigerian government to help me get justice for my son in Dubai. I warned the Nigerian government that Nigerian youths were being killed in Dubai on a daily basis as confirmed by our embassy in Dubai.
I also warned parents about the danger of Dubai. I also stated repeatedly, that if justice was not gotten for my son that another murder will happen. Indeed there have been many more after my son although not mentioned because they do not have a voice. But now, there is one so close to government that has been struck. I did not have to be a soothsayer to know this. Many more will happen until we get Justice for Toba Falode, and all those who have been murdered in cold blood in Dubai.
We cannot stand by and watch our youths lives being down played over and above “collaboration and partnership” with a country that hates us with so much passion, that they are cutting down the lives of our young ones in cold blood crudely and viciously and yet we seek “partnership and collaboration” in investment with this same country.
Our ambassador in the UAE, AmbassadorIbrahim Auwalu, must be called back to Nigeria to answer to every young soul that has been lost to Dubai unaccounted for due to his lack of responsibility in office. The Foreign Ministry also, must be asked questions on what they have done about Toba Falode’s case 8 months after.
It took Israel less than 48 hours to act on the loss of their 3 youths. 8 months after Toba Falode’s murder, we are still waiting on the Nigerian government to give us any kind of reaction on the loss of a young life-Toba Falode in Dubai. Even after submitting every evidence, our protest, police reports corroborating the fact that my son was murdered, we still have gotten no response at all from the Nigerian government. Take a queue from Israel.
And the Nigerian Government for once should start acting like a big country with so much might and power that it is in the continent and indeed in the world and go after Dubai for justice for every young soul and every Nigerian life that has been cut short in Dubai. We send our sympathy and condolences to DSP Alamieyeseigha. The family and friends of their son, we empathise with them because we have been through and are still going through it and it is nothing we wish for any parent which was our concern from the start.
This, is one death too many. May it not happen again.

Lagos State Govt donates N50million to First Consultant Hospital
As measures to cushion the economic effect the Ebola crisis had on the First Consultant Hospital and those who suffered from the deadly Ebola virus disease, the Lagos state government announced yesterday October 20th that it will be giving out N50million to the hospital as a business support gesture and also extend support to all those, dead or alive who suffered from the deadly disease.
Announcing this yesterda while briefing
newsmen at the state secretariat in Alausa, the state commissioner for
health, Dr Jide Idris said the gesture is not in any way a compensation
for all they lost during the crisis but it is a goodwill token from the
state government to get back their economic livelihood
"Having addressed the human angle in containing the outbreak, there is now the need to address the economic consequences. Under consideration are the following: Support to the affected persons including those alive and N50million lump sum as business support gesture to the First Consultant Medical Centre. This is with view to getting the people/businesses back on their feet and for businesses to re-secure patronage of their customers. It needs clearly be stated that this is not an attempt at compensation but a gesture of goodwill on the part of government.” he said

Breaking news: Oscar Pistrious sentenced to 5 years in prison
For killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day in 2013, double-amputee athlete Oscar Pistorius has been sentenced to 5 years in prison by Judge Thokozile Masipa.
The following was what she considered before imposing her sentence.
1. Culpable homicide - 5 years in prison
2. For the Tasha shooting which he was found guilty for - 3 years in prison, wholly suspended for 5 years with conditions. The two sentences will run concurrently. His family is not planning to appeal.
He will serve a minimum of 10 months in jail, after that, he'll be sent home to serve the remainder of his sentence under strict supervision controls. This will be up to South African Correction Services.

TOO BAD: Father Abandoned Children In Boarding School For 8 Years, Disappears
According to PUNCH: Three children abandoned in a
boarding school in Abule-Iroko in the Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area
of Ogun State are longing to meet their parents who have abandoned them
for eight years.
When Punch Metro visited Solid Model College, the children recounted their ordeal, noting that the absence of their parents was affecting their studies.
Seun Adepegba, 14,Seyi, 10 and Titilola, 13, had been severed from parental love and care since infant-hood. After waiting for eight years, they seemed to have relinquished all hopes of reuniting with their parents.
It was learnt that their tale of sorrow began in 2007 when their father, Mr Segun Adepegba, who had been separated from their mother, enrolled them in the boarding school because he could not afford to take care of them.
According to the proprietor of the school, Mr Samuel Ayegbusi, Adepegba came to enroll them in his school on September 24, 2007 with a promise to always check on them.
He said, “Mr. Adepegba told me his wife had just left him and that he could not afford to take care of them, being a jobless man. The children were very little. Seyi was two, while Titilola was five.
“Mr Adepegba had pleaded with me to accept them in the boarding school. Mr Adepegba’s sister promised to bear the cost of their upkeep. They paid an initial N150, 000 for the three children for the first term.”
But according to the proprietor, Adepegba never kept his promise. He said after the first term, the school expected him to come and take his children home for holiday but he never showed up until four years later. He said the school had expended over N7m on the upkeep of the children since 2007.
The proprietor said efforts to reach the parents’ families had proved abortive, adding that calls to Adepegba’s phones were not always answered.
He said, “Whenever we called him and he realized who was talking on the phone, he would switch off his phones and for the next two weeks, the numbers would not be available. When the school contacted their father’s sisters, we were told that they had traveled out of the country.
“When we called one of them, we were told that they had sent money to Mr Adepegba to defray the children’s school fees and upkeep.
But Mr. Adepegba has never come here to make any payment since the initial deposit he made in 2007.”
According to the proprietor, taking care of the children had further become cumbersome for him as one of them, Titilayo, had started misbehaving. He recounted how Titilayo ran away from the hostel twice without informing the school authority on the excuse that she was going to look for her father.
Ever since she was found, the proprietor said the school had had to keep her in a room, under tight surveillance, because she had vowed to run away to find her father.
He said, “The school is not even bothered by the cost of their upkeep. But anytime the school closed for holiday and parents come around to take their children home, Titilayo would fall into a sober mood and twice, she had run away from the hostel without informing anyone. It was a resident who stopped her and brought her back to the school.
Some of the teachers, who spoke with Punch Metro during the visit, said the absence of the children’s parents was seriously affecting their studies. They said the appearance of their parents would boost their academic performance.
While recounting their days with their father, the children said he celebrated birthdays with them. They said they had never met their mother.
Titilayo said, “We do not know who our mother is. We grew up in Yaba, Lagos and all we remember is that there was a woman that washed our clothes and took care of us until we came here. We knew she was not our mother.”
Seyi, the youngest of the trio, however, was an exception as she kept a cheerful look during the visit. Seyi, who told our correspondent her dream was to become a medical doctor said, “Although I have a faint memory of my father, I will like to see him. If he comes today, I will ask him why he left us for so long.”
Seun added, “I don’t care how long he has left us. I just want to see him. I really need to see him.” When Punch Metro called Adepegba on Thursday, his phones were switched off.

Titilayo said, “We do not know who our mother is. We grew up in Yaba, Lagos and all we remember is that there was a woman that washed our clothes and took care of us until we came here. We knew she was not our mother.”
Seyi, the youngest of the trio, however, was an exception as she kept a cheerful look during the visit. Seyi, who told our correspondent her dream was to become a medical doctor said, “Although I have a faint memory of my father, I will like to see him. If he comes today, I will ask him why he left us for so long.”
Seun added, “I don’t care how long he has left us. I just want to see him. I really need to see him.” When Punch Metro called Adepegba on Thursday, his phones were switched off.

When Punch Metro visited Solid Model College, the children recounted their ordeal, noting that the absence of their parents was affecting their studies.
Seun Adepegba, 14,Seyi, 10 and Titilola, 13, had been severed from parental love and care since infant-hood. After waiting for eight years, they seemed to have relinquished all hopes of reuniting with their parents.
It was learnt that their tale of sorrow began in 2007 when their father, Mr Segun Adepegba, who had been separated from their mother, enrolled them in the boarding school because he could not afford to take care of them.
According to the proprietor of the school, Mr Samuel Ayegbusi, Adepegba came to enroll them in his school on September 24, 2007 with a promise to always check on them.
He said, “Mr. Adepegba told me his wife had just left him and that he could not afford to take care of them, being a jobless man. The children were very little. Seyi was two, while Titilola was five.
“Mr Adepegba had pleaded with me to accept them in the boarding school. Mr Adepegba’s sister promised to bear the cost of their upkeep. They paid an initial N150, 000 for the three children for the first term.”
But according to the proprietor, Adepegba never kept his promise. He said after the first term, the school expected him to come and take his children home for holiday but he never showed up until four years later. He said the school had expended over N7m on the upkeep of the children since 2007.
The proprietor said efforts to reach the parents’ families had proved abortive, adding that calls to Adepegba’s phones were not always answered.
He said, “Whenever we called him and he realized who was talking on the phone, he would switch off his phones and for the next two weeks, the numbers would not be available. When the school contacted their father’s sisters, we were told that they had traveled out of the country.
“When we called one of them, we were told that they had sent money to Mr Adepegba to defray the children’s school fees and upkeep.
But Mr. Adepegba has never come here to make any payment since the initial deposit he made in 2007.”
According to the proprietor, taking care of the children had further become cumbersome for him as one of them, Titilayo, had started misbehaving. He recounted how Titilayo ran away from the hostel twice without informing the school authority on the excuse that she was going to look for her father.
Ever since she was found, the proprietor said the school had had to keep her in a room, under tight surveillance, because she had vowed to run away to find her father.
He said, “The school is not even bothered by the cost of their upkeep. But anytime the school closed for holiday and parents come around to take their children home, Titilayo would fall into a sober mood and twice, she had run away from the hostel without informing anyone. It was a resident who stopped her and brought her back to the school.
Some of the teachers, who spoke with Punch Metro during the visit, said the absence of the children’s parents was seriously affecting their studies. They said the appearance of their parents would boost their academic performance.
